Painthouse Fire Retardant paints have the same quality and usability as the standard Painthouse range with the addition of fire retardant chemicals that react together to form a carbon char that doesn't burn. This helps to stops the spread of flames. The fire retardant paint is a water-based paint which is CE marked and Toxin Free. It can be applied like an emulsion over pre-painted walls or on to new walls without the need of a separate base coat.
Painthouse fire Retardant paints comes in 12 beautiful colours which are available in 750ml and 2.5L tins. Currently not available in tester tubes so, to test the colour please use the regular Painthouse 100ml tester tubes with their own in-built paint pad.

Painthouse paints have been tested and passed EN 71-3 certification (toy safety) so you can be confident when it comes to decorating nurseries, bedrooms, furniture and accessories. It also has the Indoor Air Comfort (IAC) Gold Award for VOC emission.
Easy Clean
Painthouse paints are water based which means you can just wash your brushes and rollers in tap water. There's no need to use harsh chemicals to clean up.
Hardwearing
Our clever in-house chemists have worked hard to develop the ultimate paint formula. Painthouse paints need no primer and are easy to apply. They dry to a smooth, matt finish and marks can be easily wiped away with a damp cloth. It's like a super paint!
Quick Drying
Painthouse paints are touch dry in 30 minutes at a temperature of 20° C and re-coatable in only 2 hours. Which means fast turn around times for your project.
