Wood fibre insulation: A Great Option for Upgrading Your Insulation.

At Celtic Sustainables, we have two wood fibre insulation offerings: rigid insulation boards and flexible wood fibre batts.

The rigid insulation boards, Warmshell and Pavatex Reveal boards, are part of the IWI (internal wall insulation) system, which can be installed on your masonry walls, timber-frame walls, and below your rafters.

The rigid nature of the boards allows for lime plaster rendering for a beautiful finish whilst remaining breathable and offering great insulation values.

Available in a range of thicknesses:

• The reveal boards (for window and door reveals) are 19mm thick.
• The Warmshell boards range from 40mm to 60mm (internally) and up to 200mm for external systems.

Pavatex's Flexible Woodfibre batts are ideal for multiple applications:

• subfloors
• warm roofs
• cold roofs
• stud walls

They offer fantastic thermal performance alongside excellent sound insulation. Available in a range of sizes from 50mm to 200mm.

Flexible woodfibre batts are often used with the rigid warmshell boards, allowing for build-ups that meet the national regulations whilst keeping your building breathable. Unlike many modern insulation materials, wood fibre insulation can be fully recycled at the end of its life cycle.
