The Lime Green 660 fibre glass mesh is a high-performance, heavy-duty glass fibre reinforcement mesh for render, which conforms to the ETAG004 guidelines for external Thermal Insulation. The render mesh improves impact resistance and helps to prevent cracking. It is particularly suited to external Wall Insulation when installing the Warmshell system.
The 660 Mesh is optimised in grid size and tear resistance for Lime Green Meshcoat and similar lime renders.

Application
1. Apply the render Prepbond WP in two passes; the first pass is applied 2/3rd of the overall thickness. A notched trowel may be useful in achieving this.
2. In the first pass, while the Meshcoat is tacky, drop the 660 mesh into it in vertical strips, pushing in carefully with a trowel.
3. Overlap all of the mesh by 10%. A black line in the mesh helps identify the correct overlap.
4. Apply a second pass of the Meshcoat over the top of the 660 mesh on the same day.
5. Around openings, additional diagonal strips are used. Alternative pre-formed ones are available (part no. 00159)
6. The 660 mesh should be embedded halfway through the undercoat – not at the back nor showing at the surface.
