A Little Look at a Customer’s Attic Renovation

A beautiful attic renovation, brought to life with paint from Celtic Sustainables!

One of our local customers has been transforming her attic into two lovely bedrooms, ready for her grandchildren to stay. After what we know can be a long process of building work, decisions and dust, she’s finally reached the exciting stage of painting the walls.

Choosing colours is often the moment when a renovation starts to feel like a home. Spreading out swatches and colour cards, testing shades in the actual space and letting the family have their say can make all the difference.

With sloping ceilings, Velux windows and plenty of little nooks and shadows, both rooms had their own lighting challenges. The result is a bright, welcoming space where the colours flow beautifully from one room to the next.

Little Sprout – Earthborn Claypaint

The green bedroom features Little Sprout, a fresh, garden-inspired shade from Earthborn Claypaints. Its warm yellow undertones give it a grounded, natural feel while keeping the room looking bright and modern.

Three Bears – Earthborn Claypaint

In the adjoining hallway and office space, Three Bears brings a lovely burst of warmth. This rich, mustard-gold shade is vibrant and full of character, making a cheerful feature at the top of the stairs where the computer desk will sit. A true Goldilocks of colours!

Salt Pink – Eico Matt Emulsion

The smaller bedroom features Salt Pink from Eico Paints – a romantic, mauve-rose pink that creates a soft and calming atmosphere. Paired with bright white eggshell on the woodwork, it brings a gentle warmth that’s perfect for a bedroom.

A lovely choice for bedrooms and nurseries

Earthborn Claypaint and Eico Matt Emulsion are both thoughtful choices for bedrooms and nurseries, with low to very low VOC content to help keep indoor air quality in mind. Earthborn Claypaint is especially well suited to these spaces: its breathable, naturally anti-static finish helps reduce dust attraction, making it a popular choice for people looking to create a calmer, more comfortable environment. Its formulation is also well suited to those who are sensitive to conventional paints, including some people with asthma or allergies. As sensitivities vary, it’s always worth checking the product details before choosing.

We can’t wait to see the rooms completely finished, with all the lovely bedroom furnishings, throws and pillows in place. We’re sure the grandchildren will love having their own special space to stay!

Thank you to our customer for sharing a little glimpse of her renovation with us.
