RainCan Water Butt (optional base) - 210 Litres
210 litre Water Butt
The RainCan holds 210 litres of of water. It comes with a child-proof black lid as standard.
Made from recyclable PE plastic.
There are two 3/4" BSP threaded ports at the front of the water butt. The top one is positioned at a point to fit the included black plastic tap (approx 36cm from the base). The lower point (approx 9cm from the base) can be used for draindown or to connect a garden hose. Alternatively a Water Butt Base Stand can be purchased (see options above) to raise the butt by approximately 22cm.
We recommend using the 3P Filter Collector Universal to connect this water butt to your down-pipe. This diverter/filter is everything you need for collecting water from your down-pipe and filtering any debris before transferring the water into the tank. It also acts as an overflow when your water butt is full to divert the rainwater back down your downpipe.

Mini Ball Valve
If you intend to use the lower drain-down port to connect occasionally to a garden hose. We recommend fitting a 3/4" Mini-Ball Valve (and turning the handle to the "off" position") before you fill your water butt with rainwater. With the Mini-Ball Valve installed, it is easy to connect and disconnect the garden hose whenever you need.
You can purchase a 3/4" Hose tail and Hoseclip too from our Rainwater Accessories page to screw into the Ball Valve to connect your garden hose if you do not already have one.
