The 3P Rain Harvesting Pump Kit is designed to go in a rainwater tank. It is available with different length Pump to Tank Turret Hoses to ensure that you can easily connect up your MDPE pipework at the top of your tank.
This easy to install kit consists of the best-selling Divertron X900 submersible pump fitted with a:
- Float Switch (to help make sure your pump doesn't try to run if your rainwater tank gets too low on rain water). The Float switch floats within the water. When the water gets too low the weight within the float changes position and turns the pump off. The height at which the float switch turns the pump off and on can be adjusted by moving a counterweight attached to the float switch cable.
- Floating Intake. The Floating Intake simply screws into the inlet of the pump and floats within the water of the tank to ensure you pump the cleanest rain water from the tank.
The Divertron X 900 has a max flow of 105l/min (6.3m3 per hour), a max head of 45m and the inlet/outlet is 1". It can be submerged up to a depth of 12m. More information about the Divertron X 900 can be found on the Divertron 900X product page.
Optional extras
We always recommend fitting a filter within your rainwater harvesting system before the water reaches your tank to ensure your water is pre-filtered before storage. This will help ensure the water does not go "sour" during periods of infrequent use. Our best selling filter for small to medium sized tanks is the Filter Collector.
