Description

Extoseal Encors is an exceptionally flexible butyl rubber flashing tape that delivers airtight and watertight seals where they matter most.

Ideal for weatherproofing window sills, door thresholds, and areas exposed to standing water, this tape’s high elasticity allows it to easily shape around corners and junctions while providing reliable, long-lasting protection against leaks and the elements.

Application

Extoseal Encors bonds effortlessly to all Pro Clima membranes, tapes, and airtight accessories, as well as:

Planed or painted wood
hard plastics
metal
wood-based panels (chipboard, OSB, plywood, MDF)
wood fibre insulation
concrete
both plastered and bare masonry.

For best results on wood fibre boards, use Tescon Sprimer first.

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease or silicone for optimal adhesion. Concrete and plaster should be solid and stable, not loose or crumbly, to guarantee a strong, lasting bond.

Extoseal Encors safeguards building components with permanent, flexible airtight and watertight seals at window and door junctions, preventing water ingress and weather damage.

Pro Clima Extoseal Encors is designed for maximum flexibility and adheres to a wide variety of surfaces found on site. It stretches, moulds, and conforms perfectly to irregular shapes, corners, and edges—delivering a tight weatherproof seal every time. Thanks to its robust butyl layer and stretchable carrier film, it maintains airtight and watertight performance even when pulled or shaped.

With dual release strips, Extoseal Encors offers precise application—stick the narrow side first, then stretch and position the rest before securing for a perfect fit.

The butyl rubber adhesive penetrates deeply for a secure hold. After stretching, it resists shrinking or retraction, minimising the risk of air or moisture leaks over time.
