Osmo Door Oil is ideal for protecting interior doors made of solid wood. lt is a Clear, satin wood finish which is resistant to dirt, water and abrasion.
Suitable for use on bare wood, the water-repellent surface will not crack, peel, flake or blister.
Once dry, the finish is safe for humans, animals and plants and is suitable for use on children‘s toys.
- Coverage: Up to 24m² per Litre per coat (2 coats required)
- Drying time 24 hours (based on 23°C/50% Relative Humidity)
Preparation
Please ensure this product is applied to bare wood surfaces which are clean & dry. Any scratches and small holes can be filled using the Osmo Wood Filler.
Doors should be sanded to no finer than P120 to allow the oil to penetrate the grain.
Application
Apply a thin coat of Osmo door oil with a brush or roller, finishing along the grain and spreading well. Once dry, apply a second thin coat.
Maintenance
Surfaces finished with Osmo Top Oil can be cleaned with Osmo Wash and Care. Stubborn marks and stains can be removed with Osmo liquid Wax Cleaner
