Keim Soldalit Fixativ is part of the Soldalit external paint system. It is designed to be used on its own as a binding primer, or diluted into Keim Soldalit exterior paint (max 10% dilution). Keim Soldalit Fixativ will help stabilise highly absorbant substrates creating a strong binding surface for subsequent coats of Keim Soldalit exterior paint.

Application

All surfaces must be free from loose, flaking paints and then washed down with cold water to remove dirt and dust.

As a pre-treatment primer:
Use one undiluted coat of Keim Soldalit Fixativ.

As a dilution:
Keim Soldalit Exterior Paint can be diluted with a maximum of 10% Soldalit Fixativ (by weight).

Coverage: 0.1 – 0.2l/m2 depending on the absorbency of the substrate.

Cradle to Cradle Certification

keim-exterior-paints-cradle-to-cradle-silver-scorecard.jpgCradle to Cradle Certified® is the world’s most advanced, science-based standard for designing and making products today that enable a healthy, equitable, and sustainable tomorrow. Independent third parties examine and assess the substances contained in all products.

Cradle to Cradle Certified® sees materials as substances that are made available to new processes after use. All substances contained in the products must therefore be assessed scientifically for circularity.

All interior paints by KEIM have been awarded the Cradle to Cradle Certified® certificate in SILVER. In the areas of material health, water management and social fairness, the products achieved gold certification (the overall certification result is based on the lowest rated criterion).
