Contega Solido Exo is a window-and-door sealing tape for exterior applications. Solido Exo is designed to provide immediate sealing against driving rain and wind, ideal for exposed and coastal areas before render is applied. It can be used on several different substrates.
Application
Contega Solido Exo sealing tape effectively prevents air and water infiltration through gaps between intersecting building elements, ensuring enhanced weatherproofing and durability.
Contega Solido Exo offers a quick and easy solution for wind-tight sealing of windows and doors against external elements. Its robust acrylic adhesive ensures an immediate, windproof, water-resistant joint, providing reliable protection against wind-driven rain.
After application, the tape can be plastered over seamlessly, creating a smooth transition between doors, windows, and surrounding openings. For optimal adhesion, consult your plaster supplier to ensure compatibility with the tape’s fleece backing.

Pro Clima tapes are applied with pressure. For a safer and improved method of applying the tape, consider a Pro Clima Press Fix Applicator, a tool for smoothing and pressing tapes to membranes and substrates, intended to make application easier whilst protecting your hands from injury (splinters, staples, nails etc) and protecting the membranes and tapes from tears.

System Warranty
Pro Clima offers a limited system warranty, supported by public liability insurance, for all its airtightness, roof, and wall sealing products. When installed with approved thermal insulation materials and other Pro Clima system products, a 10-year warranty is provided. If combined with other manufacturers’ products, a 6-year warranty is offered.
