Uviwax UV-Protection is a clear, satin wood finish with a wax-like character. It is suitable as a self-priming finish for interior wall and ceiling panelling as well as cabinets and doors.
It is also suitable for recoating sawn edges and screw holes, additional mouldings, boards etc. that were factory finished with Osmo Uviwax® UV-Protection. Suitable for all non-resinous
wood species.
- Coverage: Up to 16m² per Litre per coat.
- Drying time 3-4 hours (based on 23°C/50% Relative Humidity)
Preparation
Please ensure this product is applied to bare wood surfaces which are clean & dry. Any scratches and small holes can be filled using the Osmo Wood Filler.
Degrease very resinous woods (e.g. Larch) with Osmo Brush Cleaner and Thinner.
Application
Apply a thin coat quickly and evenly with a brush or roller, finishing along the grain and spreading well. If necessary, sand the first coat with a fine sandpaper (P360) before applying a second coat. Osmo Uviwax can also be sprayed.
