Keim Twinstar is an innovative exterior paint that enables the application of base and top coat together, wet-in-wet, with no drying time in between. It also protects against the growth of microorganisms – without any added biocides.
Keim Twinstar is not a one-coat paint, but a two-in-one application; you can (and should) apply the paint ‘wet on wet.’ Simply mix and apply the paint undiluted, straight from the bucket, to ‘saturate’ the surface, then using the same tub of paint, apply another coat, working into the existing wet paint layer.
No drying time needed between steps, and no waiting! It’s two coats in one work step. You can speed up application time by having 2 people work together: one person applies the first coat, and the second follows with the second coat.
KEIM Twinstar is water-repellent, highly diffusible, lightfast, UV-stable and extremely weather-resistant. Thanks to the innovative product formulation with specific flow and drying properties, the primer and top coat can be applied very efficiently in a single work step without an intermediate drying time.
