Replacement water butt plastic tap
This plastic tap fits 3/4" holes.
The anti-glug design of the tap and 3/4 inch connection means that water flows at a higher rate than most other water butt taps.
The tap can be fitted to two different types of 3/4" hole:
- When installed in a 3/4 BSP threaded hole ensure that the washer (included) is on the outside of the water butt and do not use the backnut.
- When installed into a 3/4" drilled hole in a water butt, ensure the washer is on the inside of the water butt and tighten to make a water tight seal with the backnut (included).
We recommend wrapping some PTFE tape around the thread before fitting just incase the thread on your water butt connection is a bit worn. This will help ensure a good seal and prevent dripping.
