Introducing the AirDeco Ecofans

The Ecofan AirDeco is the next generation of authentic Ecofans bringing an award winning, patent-pending design with new aesthetics and increased overall performance.
  • Ecofans are designed to sit on the top of your free-standing wood stove and circulate warm air into your home increasing your comfort up to 38% faster.
  • Ecofans have been tested and proven to reduce fuel usage and lessen your environmental footprint by up to 18% with more efficient distribution of heat from your wood stove
  • No electricity or batteries needed. Ecofans generate their own power by converting the heat from your wood stove into electricity - a principle called the “Seebeck Effect”.
The new AirDeco Ecofan is available in two sizes 239mm high (Ecofan 8202) and 223mm high (Ecofan 8201).

Farrow & Ball Colour By Nature in Collaboration with the NHM
Before photographs and colour spectrometers, explorers had difficulty describing the colour of the new animals and plants they had found when they got home. That is until Abraham Gottlob Werner created his great book the "Nomenclature of Colours" in 1814. In this taxonomy he created a standardised colour scheme that allowed scientific observers, including Charles Darwin, to describe without ambiguity, the chromatic differences of the things they had seen.

Easy Ways to Stop Leaves Blocking Drains
Easy Ways to Stop Leaves Blocking Drains

An opportunity to do a little Shinrin-yoku or "forest-bathing" is always a good idea. The only downside of living in a leafy area we can think of is perhaps in Autumn when leaves cause problems blocking drains, guttering, downpipes and soakaway crates.

Blocked drains can be expensive, difficult to fix, and can even lead to flooding.

Fitting leaf guards at the height of your roof guttering can be problematic even on bungalows. You need a good sized ladder, to feel comfortable standing and working at height, and of course you can't see that the downpipe is blocked until water is flowing over the sides.

We have three downpipe leaf filters that work excellently and are easily installed at a convenient height - no more standing on ladders to reach the guttering!
