Ready mixed fat lime with coarse aggregates and horse, or goat, hairs for extra strength

Eco Right Coarse Stuff is used to provide greater flexibility and strength in the dried finish product. The hair effectively bonds the plaster and as such we use horse hair approximately 11/2" long however we can supply coarse haired stuff with goat hair should it be required.

Haired Coarse Stuff should be used when working on lath and wood, it should be considered on smooth stone backgrounds.

Lime: Sand ratio 3:1

Coverage: (approximation)

25kg - Laying Bricks 0.5m², Pointing 2.9m²,Backing or floating coat render/plaster 1.25m²

½ tonne - Laying Bricks 10m², Pointing  58.3m²,Backing or floating coat render/plaster 25m² 

1 tonne  - Laying Bricks 20m², Pointing  116.6m² ,Backing or floating coat render/plaster 50m² 

 

Please note: This product has a limited shelf life and due to the lime reacting with the hairs when wet it will revert back to Coarse Stuff over the course of approximately 3 months.
