In Cardigan's Guild Hall, 6th to 11th September
Celtic Sustainables and Ymlaen Ceredigion have organized an exciting week of talks, seminars and workshops on the theme of sustainable technologies.
It's all taking place in the Guild Hall, Cardigan (there is also a tour of local eco-developments on the green dragon bus).
All the events are free for all, everyone is welcome.

New Earthborn products stocked

Celtic Sustainables are now stocking Earthborn Caesin Filler and Wallpaper Paste.
We've had many inquiries for a wallpaper paste free of fungicides and completely safe to use, and for an low emboddied energy alternative to conventional wall fillers.
We're pleased to now stock:
Earthborn Wallpaper Paste - made from methylcellulose (plant fibres) and suitable for all weights of wallpaper.
Earthborn Caesin Filler - Interior and exterior filler for all cracks and holes. Ideal for use under Earthborn Claypaints.
Cardigan Eco Shop - open for business

The 'Eco Shop' has recently opened in Cardigan - 7 Priory Street.
For locally made crafts, eco friendly products including handmade cards, gifts, plants, woodcrafts, and the celtic sustainables range visit the Cardigan Eco Shop.
The Eco Shop also provides information on all aspects of green living, sources on sustainable building, permaculture and forest gardening, including screenings of films on local ventures and sustainability.
Run by Naturewise Wales, and staffed by local volunteers, the Eco Shop is keen to get local producers and manufacturers involved, if you have anything you'd like to add to the shop, or would like to volunteer to staff it, please contact Alpay on 07717473435.

Exhibiting at Newport Bay Spring Festival
& New Home Strip Product

Celtic Sustainables will be exhibiting at the Newport Bay Spring Festival in Newport, Pembrokeshire on the 1st - 3rd May.
We're starting our Spring exhibiting with a stall at the ever popular Newport Bay Spring Festival. Celtic Sustainables will be attending in the marquee on Saturday 1st of May and Monday 3rd of May.

Celtic Sustainables has added a new Home Strip product to their range.
The X-Tex Textured Coatings Remover is another safe and effective alternative to conventional paint strippers from EcoSolutions. This one removes all textured coatings like Artex, even old Artex from ceilings!

Due to popular demand we will be open for business from 9:00am to 12:00pm on most Saturday mornings. Please call us to check we'll be in before visiting on a Saturday.
Celtic Sustainables - open over Easter

Celtic Sustainables will be open on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
We will be open for business from 10:00am to 4:00pm on the Good Friday and Easter Monday bank holidays, and on the Saturday morning between the two. We know many of you will want to get on with some decorating over Easter, so we look forward to seeing you then.
Along with our normal opening times Celtic Sustainables will be open on the following days:
- Friday 2nd April 2010 (Good Friday), 10am - 4pm
- Saturday 3rd April 2010, 10am - 1pm
- Monday 5th April 2010 (Easter Monday), 10am - 4pm
Winter Opening Times

Celtic Sustainables will be open as usual over the christmas/new year period.
We will be open for business from 8:30am to 4:30pm on all weekdays excluding Bank Holidays.
Celtic Sustainables will be closed on the following days:
- Friday 25th December 2009 (Christmas Day)
- Monday 28th December 2009 (Boxing Day)
- Friday 1st January 2010 (New Year's Day)
The holidays are a great time to do some decorating, we look forward to serving our customers during this period.
Celtic Sustainables at Local Winter Fairs

Celtic Sustainables are exhibiting at local fairs.
After a successful day at the St Dogmaels Christmas Fair and Market on Sunday, Celtic Sustainables will be exhibiting at the follwing events:
Llandysul Winter Fair - Friday 27th November
Newport Green Fair - Memorial Hall, Newport, Pembs - Sat 28th November
Welsh Wildlife Centre Christmas Fayre - Cilgerran, Pembs - Sat and Sun 5-6 December
The events should prove to be a great chance to buy local produce and get presents for loved ones in the run-up to christmas. Do call in and see us for a chat if you're attending the fairs. As ever we'll have free colour cards and tester pots of paint to give out.

Celtic Sustainables have expanded their product range.
After researching and testing a wide variety of eco-friendly paints and accessories Celtic Sustainables are now stocking the following eco-friendly Painting Accessories:

Online Shop Launched

The Celtic Sustainables Webshop is online.
Our range of products can now be purchased online through the brand new Celtic Sustainables Webshop. Orders can be delivered directly to the customer, or chosen to be picked up from our factory outlet.
The online shop lists a variety of Natural Paints and Warmcel 100 insulation. It will be updated regularly with new products and details.

Celtic Sustainables exhibited at various local events.
Celtic Sustainables would like to thank everyone who expressed a positive interest in their stalls and exhibits at local events throughout July and August.
St Dogmaels Local Producer's Market
Celtic Sustainables also exhibited at the St Dogmaels Local Producer's Market; a great local market with a variety of food and craft stalls, located in St Dogmaels Abbey every Tuesday between 9am and 2pm.
Celtic Sustainables at Blue Rock

Celtic Sustainables launch at Celtic Blue Rock.
Celtic Sustainables launched their company with a stall in the 'Green Futures' marquee, along with the West Wales Eco-Centre, Llamas Project, Cardigan Small World Theatre and Transition Towns, at the Celtic Blue Rock festival.
Despite the mud there was much interest in the stall, and Celtic Sustainables are looking forward to the rest of their upcoming exhibitions in August.

New Website

Celtic Sustainables new website is launched.
'We created the new website to show our visitors the range of organic and sustainable products we stock, and sell from our factory outlet in Cardigan', said Aled Stephens, director of Celtic Sustainables.
The new site features info on the products available from the company along with FAQs, hints and tips. The site will be updated regularly with useful information and product details.
